Language skills have become essential in conflict fields. The translators that accompany the forces and humanitarian missions risk their life on a daily basis. Many of them have died in the conflicts in Afghanistan and Iraq. Partly to show the firms operating in this area, but also to honor these people, we have created this space. However, please note that now that the private military/security market is truly international, many firms subcontract to local firms employing natives rather than hiring the more expensive option of field language services.

Directory under construction. Besides firms specializing on the field, we will soon add firms from our PMCs and PSCs directory offering similar services, if advertised.

Global Linguistic Solutions. GLS is a joint venture between DynCorp International and McNeil Technologies. GLS has been selected by the Army for a critical mission: we will be the United States Army Intelligence and Security Command’s (INSCOM) provider and partner of choice for foreign language interpretation and translation services.
